Richard J. Cook
Having worked with and managed top entertainment industry professionals for 25 years, Mr. Cook has unique experience in the independent feature film industry with producing credits on nine feature films and management roles of the theatrical, home video, and international distribution. On opening weekend, ONE NIGHT WITH THE KING, his most notable work, performed in the top 10 of all film releases in the U.S. The film featured Hollywood luminaries Peter O'Toole, Omar Sharif, John Rhys-Davies, and John Noble.
He has also produced over 500 episodes of programs for television ranging from music specials, documentary, reality, and live TV. In addition to his producing credits, Mr. Cook has over 5,000 visual effects credits for Television and Film in his repertoire (including the Academy Award winning work on INDEPENDENCE DAY for Best Visual Effects).
Dr. Kenneth Stokes, Ph.D.
Dr. Ken Stokes became an investor in the company in 2006 and prospered from his investment in several film productions. Dr. Stokes became an advisor to the company in 2011. In 2012 he was named Chief Operating Officer and later attended the UCLA film school in 2013. Previously, Dr. Stokes was a senior human resource executive at several large companies including Blue Cross, Lockheed, and Information Magnetics in Santa Barbara. He was the founder and CEO of Santa Barbara Transportation in 1983 and by the time he retired in 2002, he had helped the company grow a fleet of 4,000 school buses in the United States and Canada.
Dr. Stokes then joined his financial advisor at Morgan Stanley for two years as a financial advisor and stockbroker to high wealth clients. He holds a bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. in Business Administration and a Personal Financial Planner Certificate from UC Santa Barbara where he also served as a part time instructor.
￼Aileen Talamantes is Associate Producer at Oculi Entertainment. Born and raised in Hollywood, CA, her career in film and television began in 2005 when she joined Gener8Xion Entertainment. In addition to assisting the CEO she hit the ground running with work on the 2006 biblical epic One Night With The King, mobilizing the grassroots campaign that helped establish the film’s notoriety in influential community organizations across the nation.
Aileen went on to work on films Noelle (2007), The Cross (2009), and Preacher’s Kid (2010) in preproduction, production, and post-production capacities.
Ronald specializes in key art design and motion graphics. As art director, he’s responsible for establishing the visual style of Oculi’s branding. He designed the company logo and created the animated studio logo that plays in front of every Oculi-produced film. He also supervises the look of Oculi’s online presence from the home page to its various social media spaces.
He recently collaborated with writer-director Mark Landre Gould on “Gone Are the Days” to create the logo, key art, and main & end titles for the film. He also designed the logo and key art for “All Things,” an original sci-fi thriller by writer-producer Richard J. Cook, on which Ronald had the privilege of co-writing the screenplay.
Ronald is currently animating the main titles for “Gold Dust” for writer-director David Wall.
Erin Letarte (Executive Assistant) is a graduate of The Master's College, where she earned a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Political Studies. Through a diverse background including writing, editing, litigation, and work on political campaigns, she developed strong organizational abilities and is a skilled communicator.
She is passionate about the creative arts, which makes her position at Oculi a natural fit. Erin manages the office, keeping us on schedule and ensuring our business runs smoothly. On film projects, Erin aids in production management including balancing production needs, vendors, and contracts with our budget.
Dylan Reeves Price
Digital Marketing Manager
Dylan is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems. Coming from a technical background, Dylan bridges the gap between production and computing.
Dylan develops the Oculi websites and manages social media. On set, Dylan regularly runs digital imaging processes as well as streamlining the movement of footage from production to post-production.
During post-production, Dylan is an assistant editor. He also assists post-production with packaging footage and files for visual effects and sound mixing as well as an in-house digital intermediate. Dylan also creates in-house Digital Cinema Packages and oversees visual and audio outputs for digital deliverables.
